Long time Stahl Peterbilt customer, Denny Provencal (Provencal Trucking Ltd.) of Sturgeon County, has purchased 001 of 150 numbered Peterbilt Pride and Class limited edition Canada 150 Anniversary trucks.
Peterbilt Motors Company produced the Model 389 Canadian 150th Anniversary Edition to salute Canada’s history by combining the industry-leading quality and performance of the Model 389 with distinctive styling and exclusive Canadian features. The limited edition 389 is configured with a 131-inch BBC and can be spec’d in 72- and 78-inch sleeper configurations.
Exterior features include:
- Louvered grille sheet reminiscent of the 1950’s Model 351 grille
- Exhaust Stacks etched with “Canada 150"
- Bright bumper with 150th Anniversary emblem
- Bright rocker panels, cowl skirt and sunvisor
- Polished battery box, fuel tanks, and hood and quarter fenders
- Numbered Canadian 150th Anniversary Emblem on each side of the sleeper
- Special formulated Legendary Canadian red paint color
Interior features include:
- Platinum-level Arctic Gray interior with a dark top dash with blackwood
finish accents on the dash, doors, manual transmission shifter knob and
sleeper cabinet trim
- Peterbilt Premium Leather Seats Featuring a Maple Leaf on the Headrest
- Stylized steering wheel
Provencal customized the 150 edition 389 with painted Canadian Legendary Red fenders. The truck was delivered early May and is currently hauling ammonia in the Sturgeon County area in a matching red and white tank.
The limited edition 389 is configured with a 131-inch BBC, can be spec’d in 72- and 78-inch sleeper configurations, and is available in a variety of colours. Production began in May 2017 and can be ordered through any Stahl Peterbilt branch.
