Warranty Administrator

We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Warranty Administrator to start work at our Edmonton branch, reporting to the Warranty Manager. As the successful candidate, you will have extensive knowledge of mechanics stemming from your previous experience working in a similar field. You will be a team player who is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Open, edit, review and close repair orders and collect all required information for warranty claim submissions.
  • Prepare and submit warranty claims for multiple vendors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service on the phone and in person to internal and external customers about warranties and claims.
  • Navigate and locate warranty information on vendor websites.
  • Prepare and submit goodwill requests to vendors.
  • Verify all vendor requirements are fulfilled according to compliance guidelines.
  • Provide quotes for, sell and register extended warranty purchases for customers.
  • Open repair orders and issue purchase orders for extended warranty purposes.
  • Generate customer credit and chargeback invoices as needed.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with vendors.
  • Filing and administrative duties as needed.

  • Employment Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Previous warranty experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with time sensitive deadlines.
  • Desire to learn, team mentality and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Ability to navigate vendor portals.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check.
