Parts Technician

Stahl Peterbilt is searching for customer focused, outgoing Parts Technicians to work full time in Edmonton. A successful candidate will be a team player who is able to work independently in a fast paced environment.  

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides excellent front counter customer service at all times to walk in and phone clients
  • Documents and processes quotations, pricing, and purchase orders electronically; takes payments
  • Researches parts for all makes of Class 7 and 8 trucks
  • Develops, maintains, and strengthens relationships with clients to build Parts business
  • Provides back counter parts support to mechanics in the service department
  • Responds proficiently and professionally by telephone and e-mail to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns
  • Core Management
  • Conducts business on behalf of Stahl Peterbilt in a professional manner and represents Stahl Peterbilt culture to ensure fulfillment of company vision and values

  • Employment Qualifications:

  • Certified Parts Technician are strongly preferred, but equivalent work experience and/or enrollment in Parts Technician Apprenticeship will be considered
  • Previous heavy equipment parts experience is required
  • Previous sales experience is an asset
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to acclimate to PC based order entry system are necessary
  • Must be organized and exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check prior to hiring
