Marketing & Design Assistant

We are searching for a Marketing and Design assistant to work in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be a creative self starter with a strong attention to detail and an outgoing attitude. The Marketing and Design Assistant reports directly to the Marketing Coordinator and works 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintains a fully stocked and clean showroom of parts and promotional merchandise including stocking and facing daily, and cleaning weekly
  • Creates marketing materials and content for all mediums (web, print, etc.) as requested
  • Warehouses incoming shipments of promotional merchandise
  • Performs weekly updates to and edits photos for website truck inventory database
  • Provides assistance to internal and external customer who require promo items
  • Builds monthly parts flyer
  • Performs weekly and monthly tracking of various marketing and promotional activities

  • Employment Qualifications:

  • Graphic design experience and portfolio of design work is necessary, completion of post secondary education in design related program is an asset
  • Proficient with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and other Adobe programs
  • Customer service experience is preferred, retail experience would be beneficial
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (ie Word, Excel, Outlook Express, and Sharepoint)
  • Photography an asset
  • Familiarity with social media marketing an asset and working with website content management systems
  • Experience working in an office environment would be beneficial
