Medium Duty Truck Sales Rep

We are searching for a confident and self-motivated individual to work as a Medium Duty Truck Sales Representative in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be a team player who is driven to succeed in a competitive environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Sales of new and used Class 7 model trucks
  • Works with sales team to manage and grow company market share
  • Prospects for new accounts, sources leads, cold calls, and researches to generate sales in the transportation, logistics, fleet, oil and gas, construction, and other similar industries
  • Develops, maintains, and strengthens strong business relationships with clients to build business opportunities
  • Achieves and/or exceeds sales goals in assigned territory
  • Conducts business on behalf of Stahl Peterbilt in a professional manner and represents Stahl Peterbilt culture to ensure fulfillment of company vision and values. Assists with successful implementation of major company programs and initiatives
  • Employment Qualifications:

  • Industry related experience is an asset and or familiarity with Class 7 trucks and/or Peterbilt brand is beneficial
  • Experience in account management and proven track record in new account acquisition, account retention, and account penetration
  • Must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as ability to organize and manage time appropriately
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check
  • Prior customer service experience in a business-to-business role is necessary
